In her own words

Rhea, a new mom in Maskwacis, Alberta, shares a Facebook post about her own experience of the program
“The prenatal program has brought us confidence and pride. I’m proud to be a mother and to be sharing healthy habits. I enjoy Melissa coming to my house for short visits. She has a lot of good advice and shares many ways of helping to ease the situation when you’re becoming a new mother. Her presence through the program helps to remind us that our community cares and is here for us. Also what I enjoy is that Melissa is present at our visits, and she’s tuned in with the babies at every stage that the mommy and baby are at. Good job, and please keep it up. Us mothers need to know we are important at what we are doing. Melissa helps bring that comfort right into our home life and well-being.”
